architect hanna hyvönen, architect/filmmaker helmi kajaste and artist/curator kari yli-annala discuss cinema and architecture both in general and as seen in the films over the weekend, touching on questions such as: how to translate the sense of space into works of time-based art? where is the human in (films on) architecture? in what ways can cinema help us understand architecture, and the other way around - and what else can we learn from the films we have seen? the discussion is moderated by tytti rantanen, editor-in-chief of niin&näin quarterly. please note: this discussion will be conducted in finnish!
